Foger Bit 35K Instructions
Step-by-step instructions for the Foger Bit 35K disposable vape: how to use it on first draw, how to turn it off, what each OLED screen indicator means, and what to do if it stops hitting. Switch Pro 30K setup is summarized in section 4 (full setup lives on the Switch Pro Kit page).
How To Use The Foger Bit 35K
The Foger Bit 35K is draw-activated — there is no fire button. Pull on the mouthpiece and the device fires. Most first-time troubleshooting questions are setup misunderstandings, so do these four steps in order on a brand-new device.
First Use — Out Of The Box
- Remove the Bit 35K from the box. The device ships fully charged and pre-filled.
- Peel the silicone cap off the mouthpiece. The mouthpiece is now exposed.
- Take a normal draw. The OLED screen on the front face powers on automatically — battery percentage, e-liquid percentage, puff count, and active power mode display.
- The device is active for as long as you keep drawing. There's no on/off button to press.
The OLED Smart Screen
The OLED screen shows four live readings:
- Battery — percentage from 0 to 100 (recharge via USB-C when low)
- E-Liquid — percentage from 0 to 100 (the device is empty at 0%)
- Puff Count — number of puffs taken on this device
- Mode — Eco (default) or Boost (toggled via side button)
The screen powers on with each draw and stays on for 5 seconds after, then sleeps to save battery.
Eco vs. Boost Mode (Side Button)
The side button does not turn the device on or off. It toggles between Eco Mode (default, 35,000 puffs rated) and Boost Mode (~25,000 puffs rated, warmer/denser vapor).
Press the side button once. The OLED screen confirms the active mode. Most users stay in Eco Mode for full puff capacity; switch to Boost when you want a stronger throat hit.
Adjustable Airflow (MTL → DTL Slider)
The airflow slider on the body controls how tight or open the draw feels.
- Slide tight (toward MTL) — Mouth-to-lung pull. Feels closer to a cigarette draw, lower vapor density per pull, longer e-liquid life.
- Slide open (toward DTL) — Direct-to-lung pull. Feels closer to a full vapor inhale, higher vapor density per pull, faster e-liquid use.
The slider has no clicks or detents — slide to taste between the two ends.
How To Turn Off A Foger Bit 35K
The Foger Bit 35K does not have an explicit off switch. The device is draw-activated, which means it's only "on" while you're actively inhaling. Between draws, the device is in sleep state — battery drain in sleep is negligible.
If you want to fully disable the device for transport or storage:
- Stop drawing. The OLED screen sleeps after 5 seconds.
- (Optional) Cover the mouthpiece with the silicone cap that shipped with the device. This prevents accidental draws in a pocket or bag.
The Bit 35K cannot be "turned off" in the way a button-fire vape can because there's no fire button to disengage. The hardware is designed to stay dormant unless airflow is detected through the mouthpiece.
If your Bit 35K is firing without you drawing on it, that's a different problem (auto-firing — a hardware fault, not a user setting). See section 3 below.
Foger Bit 35K Not Working / Not Hitting (Diagnostic)
A Bit 35K that's not hitting is usually one of four things. Check in this order:
- Mouthpiece cap still on — peel the silicone cap off the mouthpiece.
- Battery dead — check the OLED for battery percentage. If 0%, plug in any USB-C cable to the bottom port. The screen will show a charging icon and percentage. Most chargers reach 100% in ~45 minutes.
- E-liquid empty — check the OLED for e-liquid percentage. If 0%, the device is finished and the entire unit needs replacing (Bit 35K is non-refillable; refill detail in section 5).
- 188 error on screen — see the dedicated 188 error code troubleshoot guide. The 188 reading on a Bit 35K usually means a coil-pod fit issue inside the sealed unit, which is a warranty replacement, not a fix.
If the device is reporting battery, e-liquid, and puff count normally on the OLED but you're getting a burnt taste instead of flavor, that's a coil issue — see the burnt taste fix guide.
If none of those four match your symptom and the device fires but gives no vapor, the airflow slider may be all the way closed (slide it open partially). If the slider is mid-range and the device still gives no vapor, contact Foger support.
Foger Switch Pro 30K Kit Setup (60-Second Summary)
The Foger Switch Pro 30K Kit is a different product than the Bit 35K. This section is a quick-start summary; full setup lives on the Switch Pro 30K Kit product page.
- Take the battery dock and pre-filled pod out of the Kit box.
- Snap the pod onto the magnetic gold contact pins on top of the dock. You'll feel a positive click.
- Inhale on the mouthpiece. The OLED on the dock powers on. The Kit is active.
- (Optional) Side button toggles Normal Mode (30,000 puffs) and Boost Mode (18,000 puffs).
- Charge the dock via USB-C when the battery indicator gets low.
Some search queries ask "Foger vape switch on bottom" — there's no mechanical switch on the bottom of the Switch Pro pod. The bottom contact is the magnetic dock connector. The device activates from the draw, not a switch.
How To Refill The Foger Bit 35K
The Foger Bit 35K is non-refillable by design.
There is no fill port on the Bit 35K. The device is sealed, the coil is internal, and the pre-filled e-liquid is factory-sealed at the manufacturing line. When the OLED screen reports 0% e-liquid, the device is finished and needs to be replaced — there's no refill workflow that applies to the Bit 35K.
If your search was for a Foger device that does refill, that's the Foger Switch Pro 30K Kit — the Switch Pro pod is the "refill" in the Foger product line. Full closed-pod refill mechanics, FDA disclosure, and what fits which device live on the Foger Vape Refill guide.
97 imp/quarter of users searching "how to refill foger bit 35k" are landing on this page expecting a fill-port walk-through. The honest answer is the device design doesn't support refill; the buying path they want is the Switch Pro Kit.

Settings, Lights & Screen Meaning
Reference table for Bit 35K and Switch Pro indicators.
Airflow Slider
Tight position — narrowest airflow channel; feels like an MTL pull similar to a cigarette draw. Recommended for nicotine satisfaction on lower nicotine concentration pods (which Foger doesn't ship — the spec is 5% across all SKUs — so airflow is the only adjustment for "tighter" feel).
Open position — widest channel; feels like a DTL pull similar to a sub-ohm tank.
The slider is continuously variable; there are no detents or click positions.
OLED Screen Indicators
Battery icon — current charge from 0–100%. A flashing battery icon means below 5%; charge immediately.
E-Liquid icon — drop or beaker glyph showing percentage. At 0%, the device is empty.
Puff Count — running total since first activation. Resets only on hardware replacement.
Mode — "Eco" or "Boost" text label confirms which mode the side button has selected.
Charging — USB icon appears when a USB-C cable is plugged in; disappears when unplugged or fully charged.
Light Codes At A Glance
Solid screen, no flashing — device is in normal operating state.
Blinking green lightning bolt — appears on the Bit 35K when the battery is critically low and the coil cannot sustain a full draw. Charge the device.
Blinking 188 — error code; usually a coil-pod fit issue. Detailed fix steps on the 188 error code troubleshoot guide.
Solid screen but no vapor — airflow slider may be fully closed, or the device may have hit a thermal cutoff. Wait 60 seconds, then retry with the slider mid-range.
Reset (Hard Power-Cycle)
The Bit 35K and Switch Pro 30K do not have a manual reset button. The hardware reset is:
- Plug the device into a USB-C charger for 30 seconds.
- Unplug. The device will resume normal operation when you draw on it.
If the device still shows the same error after a power-cycle, the issue is not a soft fault — it's a hardware fault, and the device may need a warranty replacement. Foger support contact info is on the contact page.
